Nonstick Blade Technology

The BOND FREE technology developed by CANARY applies a “4-fluorine” high-quality fluorine coating across the entire back of the blades. This coating is more durable than conventional fluorine finishes and prevents adhesive residue from sticking, making it easy to cut packaging tape, gummed tape, masking tape, and other sticky materials without worrying about build-up.

In comparison tests with ordinary office scissors—which start accumulating adhesive residue after around 20 cuts and become stiff at around 50 cuts—Bond-Free scissors remained almost free of residue even after a full day’s use. Any slight residue that did appear could be easily wiped off with a tissue, restoring their normal cutting performance.

Ergonomic Design

The blades extend close to the handle, so force is transferred efficiently and cutting remains smooth without excessive effort. The thumb hole features a slight recess that naturally fits the hand, minimising fatigue during prolonged use.
